Our mission
Move more volume, for less.
Quantitas (Pty) Ltd was started at the end of 2019 to provide a unique transport solution for the volumetric freight market. Our mission was to design a truck-trailer combination that could fit more volumetric freight while running more cost-effectively than conventional combinations.
Through innovative design and a customer-centric approach, we built a hardbody dry-freight combination that takes 138 m³ of freight at a maximum of 23 tons payload — 10 m³ more than a conventional Superlink dry-freight trailer.
That extra cubic metre gain, coupled with savings on fuel, tyres, maintenance and capital layout, enables us to offer our clients a huge saving per cubic metre transported.

Our story
Founded in 2019 by Casper Dercksen.
Founder & day-to-day management
Casper has been involved in the South African transport industry for 25 years. Starting out as an admin clerk, he quickly gained experience in every sphere of the business — HR & IR, fleet, finance, operations and general management.
Before founding Quantitas, his last role was Operations Executive for a blue-chip company within the South African transport industry. That experience shaped a company built around one idea: a bigger truck with bigger savings for our clients.
